Overview
Perform pipe welding on stainless steel and copper-nickel pipe using GTAW (TIG) and SMAW (stick) processes in a shipyard environment. Work may involve different heights, confined spaces, weather conditions, and 24-hour shift schedules. Must pass a military standard X-Ray welding test in the 6G restricted position. Per diem is available for qualified non-local personnel.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of pipe welding experience
- Experience with GTAW (TIG) and SMAW (stick) welding
- Pass a military standard X-Ray welding test on stainless steel and copper nickel in 6G position
- Pass a background investigation
- Pass a hair follicle drug screen
- Pass a respirator fit test and audiogram
