Overview
The med passer provides direct care to residents in a Home for Aged assisted living and memory care setting. Duties include assisting with activities of daily living such as personal hygiene, bathing, grooming, dressing, walking, and toileting, and responding to resident calls promptly. The role follows each resident's individual service plan and works under the supervision of the Director of Resident Care and 2nd Shift Supervisors.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- CNA Certification or at least 2 years of experience in health related or elder care
- Ability to assist with personal hygiene, bathing, grooming, dressing, walking, and toileting
- Respond to resident calls in a timely manner
- Follow each resident's individual service plan
- Work under the Director of Resident Care and 2nd Shift Supervisors
