Overview

Capital Towing & Recovery is seeking an Apprentice Diesel Mechanic for paid on-the-job training in Columbus, OH. Trainees work alongside experienced technicians to learn preventative maintenance, brake repairs, and diagnostics on tractor-trailers. The role includes opportunities to train on mobile road service calls for commission-based pay.

Requirements

• At least 23 years old
• Valid driver's license with 2 or fewer points and no major violations
• Pass a DOT Medical Exam and pre-employment drug test
• Live within 30 miles of the shop with reliable transportation
• Ability to work day shift and on-call service calls
• Capable of keeping up with a fast-paced environment
