Overview

The Restaurant Assistant Manager supports the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations of The Statehouse restaurant, Augie's Tavern, and In-Room Dining services. This role ensures guest satisfaction through supervision, training, and development of Front of House staff. The Assistant Manager also contributes to financial success by monitoring budgets, labor costs, and inventory controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in hospitality, restaurant management, or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of one (1) year supervisory experience in restaurants or hotels
• Food Manager Certification and Responsible Beverage Service Certification (or ability to obtain)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a team-oriented approach
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Detail-oriented with proven ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
