Overview

Desert West OB/GYN is hiring full-time Back-Office Medical Assistants for a busy, growing practice. Duties include rooming patients, taking vital signs, documenting histories, data entry in Athena EMR, medication reconciliation, preparing procedure trays, assisting with in-office procedures, ordering diagnostic tests, administering injections, answering patient calls, and communicating test results. The role requires a certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program and travel between Glendale, Peoria, and Sonoran locations.

Requirements

• Certificate of completion from an accredited Medical Assistant program
• Certified Medical Assistant (Required)
• Available to start as early as 7:00 AM and work as late as 5:30 PM
• Able to commute between Glendale, Peoria, and Sonoran office locations
• National certification preferred but not required
• Women's health experience, Athena EMR experience, and bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
