Overview
Family Therapy and Consultation Services has provided counseling and behavioral services for children and families in New Jersey since 2004. The Behavior Technician implements individualized behavior intervention plans using applied behavior analysis, conducts assessments, documents records in compliance with HIPAA, and collaborates with special education staff and families. Hours are in family homes during non-school hours, and the position is per diem with a flexible schedule and no minimum weekly hours.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED with minimum 3 years supervised experience implementing behavior support plans for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities, or Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, guidance and counseling, social work or related field with at least 1 year supervised experience
- All applicants must have supervised experience implementing behavior support plans for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities
- Valid driver's license, insurance, and registration
- Child Abuse and Criminal Background Clearance
- Application question: must have 3 years or more of experience providing behavioral services to children with developmental disabilities and implementation of behavior support plans
