Overview

The Behavioral Health Technician monitors the safety and security of residents in inpatient homes, conducts perimeter checks and hourly counts, and maintains shift documentation. The role includes monitoring social recovery events such as AA/NA meetings, facilitating a weekly adult life class, and performing facility and room searches. Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
• One year of experience in a related field or security task (accepted in lieu of diploma)
• Lived experience with mental health and/or SUD or experience working with individuals with mental health and/or SUD
• Valid driver's license and transportation
• Proficient understanding of basic office applications and computer skills
• Detail oriented, effective verbal and written communication skills
