Overview

DC Waste & Recycling is hiring a full-time hourly driver to collect waste and recycling containers along designated routes using rear-load, side-load, front-load, and rolloff trucks. The role involves tablet-based route navigation and data recording, routine vehicle inspections, and courteous interaction with customers. Typical hours are Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 3:00 pm, with 40 to 50 expected hours per week.

Requirements

• Commercial driving experience: 1 year (Required)
• Driver's License (Required)
• CDL A (Preferred)
• Air Brake Endorsement (Preferred)
• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
• Ability to operate a tablet for navigation and tracking
