Overview

The Recovery Support Specialist provides peer-based support to individuals receiving treatment for substance use and mental health conditions in PHP and IOP programs. The role involves recovery coaching, group support, care coordination, and documentation in line with Wisconsin DHS 75, HIPAA, and 42 CFR Part 2. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Lived experience in recovery from substance use and/or mental health conditions
• Minimum 1 year of sustained recovery (preferred or required based on program standards)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based clinical environment
• Preferred: Wisconsin CPS or CRC certification, behavioral health experience, knowledge of community resources
