Overview

This position installs and maintains the municipal water distribution and wastewater collection systems, including water mains, valves, fittings, hydrants, and meters. Work involves excavation, heavy equipment operation, customer assistance, and on-call duty for after-hours emergencies. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and a water or wastewater license is preferred or must be obtained within 18 months.

Requirements

High school graduation or acceptable equivalency diploma
Valid State of Florida driver's license
CDL preferred or willing to obtain within 6 months
On-call duty on a rotating basis for after-hours emergencies
Familiarity with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and digging
Water or Wastewater license preferred or obtain within 18 months
