Overview

Transitional Services, Inc. is seeking a Counselor to provide on-site support and supervision to residents in a group home or apartment setting. The role involves supporting adults diagnosed with mental illness and substance use disorders through crisis management, training, and daily living instruction. This full-time position operates on day and evening shifts, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field, OR Bachelor's in Psychology/Social Work with 1 year paid direct service experience
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal automobile
• Must pass all background and drug clearances
• Ability to engage residents with mental illness and provide trauma-informed crisis intervention
