Overview

The School District of Jefferson seeks a detail-oriented, self-motivated person for its custodial team at Jefferson High School. The role keeps the building safe, clean, and ready for learning, with duties such as sanitizing restrooms, mopping and finishing floors, vacuuming carpets, securing the building, and setting up for activities. This is a part-time, year-round, 12-month position, 5 hours per day, 3pm to 8pm, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• Good manual dexterity and good health
• Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• Follow work schedules and work unsupervised
• Familiar with safe use of cleaning equipment and processes
• Accept direction from various supervisors
• Organize and maintain building custodian inventories
