Overview

The Equipment Operator/Shredder Operator runs a small excavator and front end loader and is responsible for all shredding operations in a safe and efficient manner. Duties include setting up machinery, monitoring production, checking output for defects, and cleaning and maintaining equipment. The role works in the cab of an excavator or front end loader outside, and may require extended hours or extra shifts.

Requirements

• Previous experience in plant operations or related fields preferred
• Familiarity with plant tools and equipment
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds unassisted
• Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test for all drugs, including marijuana
