Overview

The Watertown Housing Authority seeks an Executive Director to lead an 80-unit public housing portfolio, including Johnson Arms and 23 scattered-site family townhomes. The role combines strategic leadership and hands-on oversight of HUD compliance, budgets, property management, personnel, procurement and community relationships, reporting to the Board of Commissioners. Requirements

• Leadership or progressively responsible experience in housing, property management, public administration, nonprofit management, finance or a related field
• Ability to manage budgets, people, regulatory obligations and sensitive resident matters
• Strong communication, judgment, integrity and computer skills
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel among WHA properties
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience considered
• Preferred: bachelor's degree, public housing or HUD experience, PHM or similar training
