Overview

Evolution Contracting is seeking an experienced pipe layer to join underground utility crews in Grimes, Iowa. The position involves large-scale water main, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer installations throughout the Des Moines area. This is a full-time role offering union pay and benefits.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Pipe Layer in underground utility construction
• Experience with water main, sanitary sewer and/or storm sewer
• Strong understanding of line and grade
• Ability to use pipe lasers, levels, and grade stakes
• Ability to read utility plans and elevations
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
