Overview

Emerald Transformer is seeking a Field Service Technician to test, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair transformers and related electrical equipment at customer sites. This hands-on role involves working with high, medium, and low voltage systems as well as diagnostic testing tools. The position demands frequent travel, including extended stays, alongside facility-based work when field assignments are not scheduled.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to complete safety, crane, and respirator training
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally
• Willingness to travel frequently, work overtime, and respond to emergency calls
