Overview

Lead the diesel shop and oversee maintenance and repairs for a trucking fleet. Manage mechanics, daily operations, preventive maintenance, diagnostics, parts inventory, and DOT compliance. Act as a working manager who assists with repairs and ensures equipment is safe and ready for dispatch.

Requirements

• Extensive experience maintaining and repairing heavy-duty diesel trucks and trailers
• Previous experience as a maintenance manager, shop foreman, or lead diesel technician
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, emissions systems, brakes, electrical systems, air systems, and diagnostic equipment
• Ability to lead a team, organize workloads, and follow repairs through to completion
• Strong communication skills and a dependable work ethic
• CDL preferred
