Overview
This is a relief/floater position providing coverage for regular milk haulers across multiple farm pickup routes. Drivers transport milk from dairy farms to processing facilities, follow food-grade sanitation and milk-handling procedures, collect milk samples, and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections. The schedule is 5 days on and 2 days off with varying shifts, including weekends and holidays. The employer says people with a criminal record are encouraged to apply.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Tanker Endorsement
- Valid Milk Sampling License
- Previous tanker driving experience
- Experience operating multi-axle trailers and 18-speed manual transmission trucks
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders exceeding 10 feet
