Overview

The Food Sourcing Coordinator develops and maintains relationships with food donors, including grocery retailers, farmers market vendors, and local growers, to secure donated food. The position involves significant time out of the office visiting donors, onboarding new locations, and coordinating programs such as MealConnect and Double Up Food Bucks. The role also includes training volunteers and representing the food bank across its 16-county service area.

Requirements

• Four-year degree or comparable experience in sales/marketing
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record and reliable transportation
• Willingness to travel within the 16-county service area
• Ability to obtain ServSafe Coordinator Certification within 1 month
• Capable of standing and walking for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds
• Comfortable as a self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills
