Overview
This position supports daily barge operations at a facility that loads and unloads barges and trucks. It serves as a general laborer role performing tasks such as deckhand duties, grain transfer, housekeeping, and equipment maintenance. Work involves rotating shifts, extended hours, and exposure to seasonal outdoor weather.
Requirements
- High school diploma, equivalent, or combination of education and experience
- Basic mathematical skills
- Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 lbs
- Ability to work in confined spaces and around deep or swift water
- Ability to work extended hours, weekends, holidays, and alternate shifts
- Ability to pass all required testing under FRA and DOT where applicable
