Overview

Harm Reduction Services is a small public health and HIV prevention nonprofit in Oak Park Sacramento, founded in 1993. Requirements

• Attend trainings, including completing the State Office of AIDS HIV test counselor certificate program if not already certified
• Ability to develop relationships with clients and providers
• Effective communication and problem solving with diverse individuals and communities
• Physical ability to walk up to 1 mile several times a day, work up to 8 hours, occasionally lift up to 40 pounds and climb stairs
• Literacy for record keeping and experience with data collection, entry and analysis
• Preferred but not required: case management knowledge, Spanish communication, prior HIV Test Counselor certification
