Overview

Rice Tire is hiring an experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic to perform maintenance and repair on medium duty commercial equipment, including trucks, trailers, and emergency response vehicles. Duties include diagnostics, brake and suspension work, alignments, and DOT inspections. The position is full-time, day shift, Monday through Friday, with no weekends. Requirements

• Own a set of basic tools
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Acceptable pre-employment drug screening
• Current ASEs and/or willingness to obtain them
• Willing to work on all types of vehicles
• Alignment, welding, and CDL experience preferred
