Overview
The Tool and Die Technician repairs and reconditions molds using a variety of complex machine tools. Duties include setting up and operating a milling machine, disassembling and cleaning molds, replacing guide pins and bushings, and changing cores, cams, and cavity inserts. Requirements
- Associate's Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar environment
- Experience with forklift and overhead crane operation
- Proficiency with measuring tools, hand tools, and milling machines
- 1 year of injection molding tool and die maintenance experience (Required)
