Overview

The Invasive Plant Strike Team Crew Member manages invasive plant species at ecologically sensitive and high-priority areas throughout Southeast Arizona. Duties include identifying and mapping designated areas, applying manual or chemical treatments, maintaining field equipment, and supporting restoration projects. The position is field-based, permanent, full-time at 36 hours per week, and reports to the Director of Invasive Plant Management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience performing fieldwork in extreme weather conditions
• Experience managing invasive species, preferably in arid landscapes
• AZDA Certified Applicator License within 90 days of hire
• Valid Arizona Driver's License
• Proficient with maps, GPS units, and Microsoft Office and Google Suite
