Overview

Redmond Oasis Village is a nonprofit providing shelter and support to individuals experiencing homelessness in Central Oregon. The Mentor acts as a role model, helps participants with goals and life skills, and works with the Case Manager. The role involves evening, night, and weekend shifts and occasional exposure to physically or verbally aggressive participants.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree a plus
• At least 2 years experience working with diverse communities and vulnerable populations
• Knowledge of addiction, mental health, and community resources
• Valid Oregon Driver's License and ability to drive for work tasks
• CPR/First Aid Certificate (training provided)
• Ability to commute to Redmond, OR 97756
