Overview
The occupational therapist assesses deficits in activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living related to physical, cognitive, or psychological impairments. The role develops individualized treatment plans with patient-centered goals, delivers therapeutic interventions, and reassesses patient response to treatment. Documentation, discharge planning, and supervision of ancillary staff and students are also part of the position.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited program of occupational therapy
- Current State Board of Occupational Therapy licensure
- BLS certification
- Valid driver's license and proof of valid auto insurance
- Driving record in accordance with McLaren's corporate driving policy and eligibility guidelines
- Preferred: one year of occupational therapist experience and NBCOT registration
