Overview

DietitianSmart seeks Registered Dietitians with long-term care experience to provide nutritional care for rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and assisted living facilities across Southern California. The consultant RD collaborates with the DSS/CDM and IDT on nutrition screening, assessments, care plans, and monitoring of high-risk residents, and provides oversight to the Food Service Director for regulatory compliance and quality assurance. The role is part-time at 16 hours per week with a hybrid remote and flexible schedule during normal business hours.

Requirements

• Must have RD/RDN credential
• LTC experience
• Knowledge of NCP and standard charting methods for EMR
• Independent, self-directed, and customer focused
• Experience in clinical dietetics and some food service background desirable
• Knowledge of regulations such as Title 22, CMS, and Department of Health
