Overview

The Peer Recovery Coach supports clients in building problem solving skills for daily living and developing activities and behaviors that support sustained recovery. The position documents services properly and on time and requires awareness of local community support groups and resources. It is an in person role with a flexible schedule and full time benefits.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• In sustained recovery from a substance use disorder and involved in a 12 step recovery program for at least two years
• Has or able to attain CCAR or MDHHS Peer Recovery Coach Certification
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrated awareness of local community support groups and resources
• Physically able to sit at a desk, work on a computer, and lift up to 15 pounds occasionally
