Overview

Set up and operate hydraulic power press brake machines to bend, form, notch, punch, or straighten sheet metal or steel plate products according to shop work orders, blueprints, drawings, templates, or layouts. Read blueprints or job orders to plan operational sequences, measure finished pieces with precision instruments, and inspect for defects. Perform minor machine maintenance and operate material handling equipment such as overhead cranes, hoists, and forklifts.

Requirements

• Press Brake experience: 2 years required
• Ability to commute to Chicago, IL 60638
• Must relocate to Chicago, IL 60638 before starting
• Read blueprints or job orders and use a tape measure
• Stand for an 8 to 10 hour shift
• Subject to physical, 10-panel drug and alcohol test, and strength test
