Overview

Real Pickles is a worker-owned co-operative producing organic fermented vegetables from Northeast-grown produce. The Production Assistant joins the production team to make fermented foods for customers throughout the Northeast, with duties including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables, operating food machinery, packaging finished product, and using a pallet jack. Requirements

• Experience with commercial food production and/or farming strongly preferred
• Able to do physically demanding, repetitive work while standing for a full 8-hour shift
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Collaborative, respectful team player with good verbal communication skills
• Regular and predictable attendance
