Overview
The Program Director oversees the administration, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of the Veterans Serving Veterans Senior Demonstration Program. Duties include recruiting and supervising veteran volunteers, developing community partnerships, coordinating participant services, and ensuring compliance with AmeriCorps federal grant requirements. The position reports to the Executive Director and is grant funded for three years.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in social work, human services, public administration, nonprofit management, gerontology, or related field preferred
- Relevant experience in program management, veteran services, aging services, volunteer coordination, or human services
- Experience with grant-funded programs, documentation, reporting, and performance monitoring preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, electronic recordkeeping, spreadsheets, and program reporting systems
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and ability to travel within assigned service areas
