Overview

This position performs forensic evaluations and completes reports for courts, provides psychological assessments, and delivers individual and group psychotherapy to patients. The role also involves clinical supervision of psychology students and participation in committee meetings and continuing education. Selection is based on evaluation of job-related training, abilities, experience, and education.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree in Psychology
• 36 months or more clinical experience in psychological treatment and assessment
• Licensure as a Psychologist issued by the Alabama Board of Examiners in Psychology
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Ability to use a personal computer and various software programs
• Drug screening and security clearances required for serious consideration
