Overview

Vestal Asphalt, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Lab Assistant to perform physical and analytical testing on liquid asphalt emulsions and pavement preservation materials. This role reports to the Lab Manager and ensures manufactured products adhere to internal quality standards and DOT specifications. Daily tasks include mix designs, equipment maintenance, and collecting field samples across local job sites.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum 1+ years of hands-on laboratory testing experience
• Valid Driver's License with a clean record
• Strong laboratory algebra skills and data entry habits
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable handling hot liquids and working around active paving equipment
