Overview
This position is accountable for all aspects of aggregate and asphalt mix quality management and oversees quality control programs for multiple businesses, including Western Rock, Hales Sand and Gravel, Nielson Construction and Burdick Materials. The role leads and mentors Laboratory Managers, coordinates testing and resources, and reports to the Vice President of Central and Southern Utah. Requirements
- Professional Engineer licensed in Utah with at least 2 years of aggregate and asphalt quality control experience preferred, or equivalent experience
- Previous leadership experience preferred
- Asphalt mix design knowledge and experience
- Familiarity with AASHTO ReSource requirements
- Travel within Central and Southern Utah, 20 to 40 percent
- Available to work nights and weekends when necessary
