Overview

Gonnella Frozen Products is hiring a Quality Control Technician to work under the Quality Manager, ensuring finished products meet quality specifications and government food safety regulations. Duties include inspecting the production process, monitoring metal detectors and scales, investigating customer complaints, and preparing statistical reports. The position is full-time on 3rd shift and may involve weekend work to coincide with production runs.

Requirements

• Professional knowledge in nutrition and bakery science equivalent to a four-year college program plus specialized training
• Three to five years of progressively responsible experience preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced computer skills
• Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and writing skills
• Capable of climbing, balancing, stooping, reaching, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, talking, and hearing
