Overview

The Raw Materials Team seeks an associate to provide raw material quality inspection on first shift in a warehouse, cleanroom, and testing environment. Duties include receiving, quality acceptance activities, warehouse receipt, inventory management, and using hand measurement and automated testing instruments to release materials and components. The role also involves process and systems improvement work.

Requirements

Minimum 4 years manufacturing experience in regulated medical device manufacturing, or 2 years in a quality control unit or equivalent test lab
Successfully pass visual acuity test
Knowledge and application of Quality System Regulations
Basic math and analytical skills, ability to learn basic statistical concepts
Ability to use manual and automated measurement equipment such as calipers, ruler, Instron tensile tester, pipette
Ability to sit, stand, walk regularly; occasionally lift 10 to 20 lbs repeatedly and frequently lift 30 to 50 lbs; work at heights greater than 10 feet
