Overview
This role supervises ready mix concrete plant operations, maintaining equipment and materials to produce concrete and ensure timely delivery to clients. Duties include safety meetings, batching accuracy, preventive maintenance, housekeeping, payroll time entry, and assisting the Plant Manager with hiring and discipline. The schedule varies and includes early mornings, evenings, occasional nights, and some weekend availability.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum 3 years of ready-mix concrete experience
- Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred
- 1 year or more maintenance and prior supervisory experience preferred
- Knowledge of DOT, OSHA, and EPA requirements
- Must read and write English; able to lift 50 lbs.
