Overview
The primary duty of this position is to safely and efficiently deliver readymix concrete from the plant to job sites. Drivers operate assigned vehicles, handle basic truck maintenance, and assist with plant cleanup. Work occurs outdoors in variable weather conditions and active construction environments.
Requirements
- Valid Texas Class A or B CDL license
- Pass a DOT physical and drug and alcohol screen
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and maneuver up to 200 lbs
- Climb in and out of a truck cab approximately 30 times daily
- Ability to place and replace chutes weighing 45 to 70 lbs
