Overview
Custom Foods, a frozen dough manufacturer in De Soto, KS, is hiring a shipping and receiving associate. The role involves building pallets, storing and organizing freezer inventory, inspecting trailers, loading shipments, and keeping product temperatures and records accurate. The position is full-time on 1st shift, about 7:30am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday, and most of the workday is spent in a sub-zero freezer environment.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or forklift experience required
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification
- Ability to work in freezer and refrigerated environments
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, up to 8+ hours per shift
- Food manufacturing experience is a plus
