Overview
The Recovery Coach observes and documents client behaviors, accounts for client whereabouts, enforces rules and policies, inspects apartments for cleanliness and safety, and responds to emergencies. The role participates in admissions and orientations, oversees client self-administration of medications, and assists clients in developing independent living skills. It requires strong interpersonal skills, professional boundaries, computer literacy, and a working knowledge of addiction treatment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum one year of work experience in addiction treatment or related field preferred
- Valid Driver's License, good driving record, and reliable transportation required
- Must be willing to work flexible hours as required
- Excellent English written and verbal skills
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Applications
