Overview
Fe3 Construct is a Central Florida general contractor building custom steel-frame homes, barndominiums, ICF, and hybrid systems, plus commercial work. The drafter will take projects from concept to permit-ready plan sets, coordinating with structural engineers, energy and HVAC designers, and surveyors. The position is in-office in Largo, FL, with either salary or project-based pay.
Requirements
- 2 or more years drafting residential construction documents that were permitted, ideally in Florida
- Strong in AutoCAD, Revit, or Chief Architect; SketchUp is a plus
- Working knowledge of the Florida Building Code and plan review
- Understanding of framing, foundations, and roof systems
- Detail-oriented, organized, able to manage several projects at once
- Takes markups and plan review comments and turns revisions around quickly
