Overview
Sawa's Old Warsaw is a family-run Polish-American restaurant in Broadview, IL, making everything from scratch daily, including a lunch and dinner buffet, salad bar, and banquet, event and catering service. The Restaurant Manager runs daily front-of-house operations, leads and schedules servers, bartenders, hosts and bussers, keeps the buffet, salad bar and dining room to standard, coordinates banquets and catering with the kitchen, handles guest issues, and manages opening, closing, cash handling and end-of-day reporting. Requirements
- Previous restaurant or hospitality management experience preferred, not required
- Calm, organized leader comfortable on a busy floor
- Strong communication with guests and staff
- Availability Tuesday through Saturday, 11am to 8pm, plus scheduled events
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Hands-on front-of-house management duties
