Overview

Montauk Bus is hiring school bus drivers to transport students safely across designated routes on Long Island. Drivers will conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, manage student conduct, and follow child safety protocols. Paid CDL training is provided for candidates with a valid permit and proper endorsements.

Requirements

• Valid CDL with School Bus and Passenger endorsements, or permit with proper endorsements prior to applying
• Excellent driving record focused on safety
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings
• Strong communication skills in English
• Ability to conduct vehicle inspections and identify maintenance needs
• Experience in bus or commercial driving preferred
