Overview

The Scopist, Certified Reporter reviews and edits final and near-final legal transcripts alongside audio to ensure error-free records. This remote position works closely with court reporters and internal teams to meet strict deadlines. Qualified candidates must possess relevant legal transcript editing experience and Texas court reporter credentials.

Requirements

• Texas Certified Court Reporter (CCR) certification
• Prior professional experience scoping, editing, or producing legal transcripts
• Willingness to provide sample transcripts or comparable work samples
• Proficiency with CAT software editing tools and Microsoft Office Suite
• Minimum touch-typing speed of 70 wpm with high accuracy
• Reliable power and internet connection for remote work
