Overview

First Unitarian Church of Portland is hiring two part-time Sextons to help keep church buildings clean, safe, and ready for worship services and events. Duties include custodial tasks, room set-up, building security, and basic audio/visual support. This union role involves regular interaction with staff, congregants, and community members.

Requirements

• Experience with custodial, commercial cleaning, facilities, or similar work
• Knowledge of basic cleaning methods, equipment, and safe product use
