Overview

McGinnis Inc is seeking a Marine Vessel Scrapper to dismantle and prepare marine vessels for repair, recycling, salvage, and demolition. Requirements

• Experience with oxy-fuel cutting, scarfing, or torch cutting preferred
• Ability to safely operate and maintain scarfing torches
• Knowledge of hot-work and fire-prevention practices
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
• Ability to lift and handle heavy tools over an 8-hour shift
• Welding, fabrication, rigging, or shipyard background is a plus
