Overview
This role acts as a senior hands-on equipment expert for powder and liquid form fill seal packaging lines. The technician bridges production and maintenance by performing setups, troubleshooting equipment, executing preventive maintenance, and coaching machine operators. The position requires strong mechanical aptitude and line ownership in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years operating and maintaining packaging equipment in food, supplement, or pharma manufacturing
- At least 3 years on form fill seal (FFS) equipment
- Experience with multi-lane vertical/horizontal FFS systems, auger fillers, and pneumatics
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds constantly
- Willingness to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays
