Overview

RPS Composites is hiring a skilled Thermoplastic Welder/Fabricator to weld and fabricate industrial plastic piping, fittings, tanks, sheet materials, and custom components. The role uses hot-gas, extrusion, socket fusion, and butt fusion techniques, and includes reading blueprints, preparing materials, inspecting welds, and operating fabrication equipment safely. Fiberglass and composite fabrication may also be required. The position is full-time with growth potential.

Requirements

• High school diploma, technical certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience
• Ability to perform welding on various materials using different welding processes
• Good mechanical aptitude and basic math skills: read tape measure, blueprints, calipers, fractions and decimals
• Ability to follow safety, quality and production requirements
• Must be able to pass pre-employment physical, including drug and alcohol screening
• Physical requirements: stand for long periods, crouch, kneel, bend, reach, lift up to 25-50 lbs, wear PPE
