Overview

Maintain all tires on trucks and trailers in the yard, ensuring they meet or exceed DOT and Kennesaw Transportation requirements and are in good, safe condition. Mount and dismount tires, assist truck and trailer technicians with tire work, keep new and used tire inventory, and perform weekly yard checks to repair or replace tires as needed. Track test tire programs and report problems to involved individuals or companies. Follow company policies and safety rules and help keep a clean, safe, organized workspace that meets OSHA and company standards.

Requirements

• Tire service experience preferred (1 year)
• Mount and dismount tires per manufacturer recommendations
• Assist truck and trailer technicians with tire related work
• Keep inventory of new and used tires
• Perform weekly yard checks and repair or replace tires as needed
• Abide by company policies and safety rules
