Overview

The Utilities Operating Technician operates and troubleshoots process equipment to meet the mill's production and quality goals. Duties include monitoring process variables, equipment cleanup and basic care, railcar and tanker truck loading and unloading of hazardous materials, and participation on the mill fire brigade and hazardous material teams. The role requires two years of industrial or manufacturing experience or an associate degree in process operations or electrical/instrumentation, plus experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel. Requirements

• Two years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, including oil field experience, or an associate degree in process operations or electrical/instrumentation
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel for data entry and document creation
• Attend and complete mandatory and ongoing trainings
• Participate on the Fire and Rescue team
• Work a 12-hour rotating shift that may include weekends and holidays
• Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing required safety equipment
